Meghan Evans, Principal
Meghan has been an integral part of the staging and designing of homes since 2005, working with custom home builders, architects, homeowners and real estate brokers in Oregon and California. Meghan has impeccable skills in interiors and staging.
After studying at University of Nevada, Reno and Sonoma State University, Meghan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology. Meghan worked as a sales representative for an orthopedic company and then moved into veterinary surgical laser sales. She worked for the leading surgical laser company and exceeded sales goals while being a lead educator in small animal and equine surgery for Universities and private practices in the U.S., Canada and Japan.
After 10 years of sales, Meghan decided to follow her true passion of design. In 2005 Buttercup Home Styling was established in Bend, Oregon. In 2011, Meghan relocated to her native Marin and has continued her love of staging and design by serving clients in Marin, San Francisco, Sonoma and Napa Counties. In 2019 Meghan opened Buttercup Home: an interior design studio and interiors shoppe.
Meghan and her husband, Doug, a local veterinarian, and 2 daughters have settled in Novato. She enjoys spending time with her extended family, hiking, gardening, skiing and “lake time” on a special undiscovered nugget in the Sierras.

Jennifer Cleary, Controller
Jennifer is originally from Canton, Michigan where she graduated from Michigan State University. After spending a few years in retail sales and store management with the Limited, Inc. she worked in Commercial Real Estate for almost 15 years. After relocating to Novato, California with her husband, Kevin, she decided to stay home to raise their three boys, Jake, Trevor and Benjamin.
Jennifer has kept busy with the boys active schedules (baseball, basketball, football, soccer and skiing!) and spends time volunteering with the kids schools and Novato South Little League. After meeting Meghan through the kids elementary school and casually mentioning her love of design, she began working in the Buttercup warehouse puttng her organizational skills to good use. Jennifer now helps with bookkeeping, utilizing her finance background, and manages inventory and the online store for Buttercup Home Styling.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys hiking all over beautiful Marin County, spending as much time in Truckee/Lake Tahoe as possible, traveling anywhere and everywhere and spending time with her family.
